Since I changed this site to a blog (in 2006) Myrddin.de has been a World of Warcraft related site. However now and then I’d like to write about other games too, but at the same time not clutter the blog with unrelated posts. For games like Fallout 3, Mass Effect, Witcher 2 I have been mainly using other forums instead. This has been bugging me for a while.
My fans (rawr yeah!) on YouTube got the request to fraps more soloing and I thought this would be an interesting Boss to show. The issue with Void Reaver, the 3rd Boss in Tempest Keep The Eye, is that he fires big balls of electrity that do a large radius AoE silence. While being in a 25 man raid it won’t matter that much, however soloing you will be targeted each and every time ending up more or less chain silenced.
Wildstar just posted this amazing Aurin Esper Costume from Pax, isn’t she cute? Fluffy Bunny Babe! ![]()

If you have seen the live coverage from Gamescom, you probbaly have seen most of the Human Starter Zone already. At least you think you did, but there is actually much more to see and with additional developer comments a must see for fans. The first video is presented by Chad Moore and he shows the cute Aurin Esper, the Area behind the Weather Control Tower and the first Instance, inclusive the Zone Boss. Jeremy Gaffneys talks about Carbine philosophy first and then later about the layer system in detail.
After looting the 25 embers and doing some quests at the bosses in firelands, the quest for the legendary staff Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa’s Rest leads you to the Quest Delegation. You need to fight an Ancient Protector and he will empower the player who is doing the quest to fight Volcanus. The fight is pretty simple, but at the same time, some of you may not have seen it yet.
There is probably not a day where I don’t get a whisper or an email about macros. The big advavntage of using macros is that they increase your focus on the game by covering easy tasks and they let you save those precious slots on action bars. The more and tighter macros you are using the more flexibility you are losing, too. It is your choice how far you want to go.
